Make your thankful sign
I started my sign with the intention of using the vinyl as a stencil for the paint. The setup looked like this:
Once I had the letters painted, I just wanted more color! So, I painted the board using a dry brush with just the tips dipped in the paint. I made it darker around where the letters would be, then faded it out.
Next, add a coat of finishing spray because the vinyl may not stick very well to the paint.
Add the letters then carefully cut out the spaces between the slats.
And… you’re done!
This would be such a fun hostess gift for Thanksgiving.
