I’ve had such a fun time with these mini crates – I couldn’t decide what to make! So, I ended up making a few projects. Check back all weekend for more to come!
Supplies
Paper and/or thin foam sheets
Bakers twine
Mini glasses or beads
Small dowels
Make your miniature lemonade stand
Stand two crates up on end and glue together. Glue a mini dowel to each side.
Create a mini banner using paper or thin craft foam. Use bakers twine to attach to dowels.
Make a mini pompom with bakers twine following the directions in this post.
Roll tiny pieces of paper (or cut thin strips) to make straws. Place in mini cups or beads.
Make pennant banner by cutting triangles from paper or thin foam sheets and gluing to bakers twine.
Craft tiny flowers with strips of paper folded back and forth, then pulled together into a circle. Glue to little paper rolls for stems.
Create a price stand by gluing a small dowel to a large crate, then decorate as desired.
Enjoy your miniature lemonade stand!
I love how it turned out!
A note on glue
I tried a fancy new glue on this project and ended up with a huge problem – it all fell apart when it dried! I went back and used a hot glue gun on the cool setting and everything held together perfectly.
