It’s easy to make tassels for earrings, accessories, and more! Great craft for kids, teens, and adults alike!
This post is part of the Inspire My Creativity link party. This month’s theme is SPRING! I don’t know about you, but Spring makes me want all the bright, fun things so I decided to make these mini tassels for earrings and decorating.

Make tassels
1. Get out lobster claws or earrings and jump rings.
2. Open a jump ring.
3. Wrap your crochet tread around your fingers or something the size you’d like your tassel to be.
4. Slide jump ring into loop of thread, then add on a lobster clasp, earring, or attach where desired. Close jump ring.
5. Use crochet thread to tie around and secure tassel.
6. Add a charm if desired using the tails of the wrap thread.
7. Use a needle to pull the tails through, then trim off.
8. Cut the loops to make the tassel.
9. Trim to desired length.
Enjoy!

Great tutorial! I have a pom pom/tassel maker yet your technique looks easier, LOL. Visiting from Pretty Pintastic Party.
Thanks! I’ve never tried a tassel maker. Maybe one of these days…
These are super cute! I could totally make this happen, thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad you like them!
I graduate next month and these would be super cute to wear to my graduation. I can’t go though because of my babies being due soon but I can see myself making these as a gifts for some of my fellow peers who I made friends with.
What a fun idea! Congrats on graduating and babies, Breyona!!!
I’ve made tassels and pom poms for sewing and knitting projects before, but I never thought to make earrings! Nice twist!
Thanks Sarah!
These turned out so cute! I love the color you chose.
Thanks Shani!
I love tassels. My daughter lives in South Korea and has given me some lovely types but I have never thought of making them. Must give it a try soon.
How fun! I’d love seeing different types of tassels!
