Rolled paper circles are easy to make and are fun to use in a variety of craft projects! Create a variety of colors and sizes for endless project ideas.
Supplies
- Paper
- Glue
- Tweezers or needle-nose pliers
- Non-stick surface
- Hair clips (optional)
Make your rolled paper circles

- Cut paper into 1″ strips.
- Fold strips lengthwise into overlapping thirds.
- Put a little glue along the inside the paper roll.
- Hold the end of the strip with tweezers or needle-nose pliers.
- Use the tweezers to roll up the strip, folded (glue) side in.
- At the end of the roll, add another little blob of glue and hold for a minute to secure.
- Put a hair clip on the paper roll for a few minutes to hold it in place while the glue dries.
- Set paper roll on a non-stick surface until glue is dry.
- Cut paper into 1″ strips.
Make a bigger circle
If you want to make circles of various sizes, lengthen the paper strips by inserting the end of one inside the other and securing with glue. Roll as above. If the rolls are really long, put glue along a segment, roll, then continue putting glue on the next segment.
